This is a brief self-reflection quiz designed to help you identify emotionally harmful narcissistic relationship patterns, such as entitlement, lack of empathy, chronic blame-shifting, gaslighting, and controlling behavior.

This is not a diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It is a clarity tool to help you distinguish between attachment-based avoidance and patterns rooted in entitlement, control, and disregard for others’ emotional needs..

Answer Yes or No based on your current or most recent relationship.

  1. My partner rarely takes responsibility and usually blames me for relationship problems.

  2. My partner lacks empathy for my feelings, especially when I’m hurt or upset.

  3. My partner dismisses, mocks, or minimizes my emotional needs.

  4. My partner gaslights me (denies things they said or did, making me doubt myself).

  5. My partner becomes angry, contemptuous, or punishing when challenged.

  6. My partner believes their needs matter more than mine.

  7. My partner uses silence, withdrawal, or emotional punishment to control situations.

  8. My partner shows little genuine remorse after hurting me.

  9. I often feel confused, anxious, or like I’m “walking on eggshells.”

  10. My partner needs admiration but avoids accountability.
